Praise to Almighty Allah, who bestowed upon me the potential and ability to give a word or two in this column. It is a pleasure and a great honor for me to welcome you to Education Malaysia Chicago website.
Let me take this opportunity to introduce Education Malaysia Chicago. Education Malaysia Chicago is an agency affiliated with Embassy of Malaysia, established by the Government of Malaysia to represent the Ministry of Education Malaysia on matters pertaining to Malaysia Higher Education and Malaysian students, particularly in The Midwest Region of The United States of America.
With the strength of 6 personnel; A Director, 3 Education Attaches and 2 Administrative Local Staff, Education Malaysia Chicago is responsible on the Internationalization of Malaysian Higher Education and Students Affair in the Midwest Region covering 12 states in The United States of America.
Across the world, higher education has experienced dramatic changes in recent years. Thus, in line with the Malaysia Education Blueprint (Higher Education) 2015-2025, Education Malaysia Chicago is responsible to promote collaboration, academics experts and exchange research between Malaysian Higher Education Institutions and American Universities in The Midwest Region through various mobility program.
Education Malaysia Chicago promotes Malaysian Higher Education to achieve The Ministry of Education aspiration to develop Malaysia as an international education hub with a difference, one that is valued by students for its competitive advantage in providing value-for-money higher education and that balances quality and affordability with the added value of rich cultural experiences.
It is hoped that Education Malaysia will be the platform for internationalization to promote any Malaysian Higher Education latest program and also a platform of communication for Malaysian students. Let’s strive for Malaysia’s higher education system betterment through Education Malaysia Chicago.
